Since launching his signature collection in September 2001, New York City based designer, Michael Spirito, has designed and defined fine jewelry with street credibility.

Michael and business partner, Sloan Mandell, titled the collection Exhibitionist for its innate ability to bring out the show-off in us all, and opened a namesake boutique on trendy Orchard Street in the heart of the Lower East Side.

The response to the collection was immediate. In 2002, Michael was awarded the Gen Art International Design Vision Award for Accessories, and in 2003 he was a finalist at the Rising Star Awards. A dedicated following of top stylists, editors and jewelry aficionados helped Michael garner international attention. In July of 2007 He was inductucted as a member of the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America), cementing his reputation as a Jeweler of outstanding quality.

Exhibitionist is available internationally, from New York to Tokyo, and continues to develop a loyal clientele while retaining a decidedly independent philosophy. Says the artist: I don't conform to trends. I believe that by sticking to my own philosophy I will continue to develop my market and stay true to my art.
